Car history: |
1) This 1969 427 Corvette comes with two engines. Currently in it's bay dons a 454 supped up 1970's NASCAR engine. I wish there were a way I could paste a video because the thing is loud especially coming out of those beautifully chromed out side pipes. The car also comes with the matching numbers 427 engine. After decoding all the numbers I've determined it is a correct 427 Corvette that was originally a red car and was repainted black. I bought this car out of a large collection from an elderly man down in North Carolina. He had an entire facility dedicated to his cars and a full time mechanic to maintain them all. He had a million dollar Rolls Royce which was out of my league, a 1974 Ferrari GTC4, an E-Type some other RHD British stuff and this vette. Needless to say since I had to buy two to get the Ferrari I chose the vette. I've always loved the 68-69 body style last of the chrome bumpers. I know its a personal thing but its just a mean looking machine. The car and both engines for 34900. This is a great opportunity to own a classic 427 vette. Sold for $34,900 on January 2, 2017. |
